Stand with us as we stand with survivors

At Family Resources, we stand with survivors.

We provide vital, no-cost services to survivors of crime, sexual violence, domestic violence and human trafficking to set survivors on a course toward health and healing.

Your dollars will go to ensure that survivors have access to the counseling, food, shelter, and assistance they need in order to build their own bridge toward health and healing.

If you would like to donate to Family Resources’ annual funds, you are welcome to do so. We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards. Pledges with annual, semi-annual, quarterly or monthly payments can also be arranged. Simply click here to make our donation online or mail your gift to:

Planned Gifts - The Annie Wittenmyer Heritage Society

By notifying us that you have decided to "Leave a Legacy" by including our organization in your will or estate plan you will become a member of this very special group of donors. Unless otherwise specified, unrestricted bequests go into our Endowment where the principal is never touched and only the interest earned each year is used. To make a bequest gift simply ask your attorney to use this language in structuring your will or estate: "I give to Family Resources, Inc. the sum of ________dollars ($_____) or _____ % of my residuary estate or ______ property (describe same) for its general use and purpose." Planned gifts of life insurance, stocks, assets, or charitable gift annuities can also be arranged by contacting our Development Office.

If you need professional assistance from a financial advisor or attorney in preparing a planned gift, our Development Office can be of service to help you in finding one.

Memorials and Special Occassion Gifts

These are ways that you can designate your gift to provide a living tribute to someone who has died or to celebrate a birthday, wedding, anniversary or other special occasion. Simply provide this information with your gift and we will notify those who you request with an announcement. However, we do not divulge the amount given. Use our secure online donation form.

Gifts made to this endowment fund by Iowa residents will qualify them for a 20% state income tax credit on the total amount of their gift through the Endow Iowa program, in addition to federal income tax charitable deductibility. Gifts to this fund can be sent to the Development Office address shown above or to the Quad Cities Community foundation where this fund is managed.

Other Information Regarding Fundraising:

Although many of our programs and services receive funding from state and federal sources, that funding does not cover all of our needs in order to provide vital services and programs to local individuals, children and families in crisis. The generosity of corporations, businesses, foundations and individuals help us to provide such things as anti-bullying and anti-gang programs in our schools; direct assistance to mothers and their children to find a new safe home and restart their lives after living in our Shelters; or helping a foster care family with unforeseen medical expenses or to purchase extra winter clothing for their growing children. You can help with an unrestricted gift or you can choose to direct your support to one of our current projects or programs.
